Glass Cleaner
Case Study
2018

Introduction

Windex is a well-known glass cleaner that claims to deliver smudge-free glass surfaces when used for cleaning. This case study examines the effectiveness of Windex in achieving its promise and explores the factors contributing to its performance.

Objective

Consumers often struggle with achieving truly smudge-free glass surfaces using various cleaning products. Windex's claim to provide a solution to this common issue warrants a closer examination of its efficacy.

Proposed Strategy

Create an ad campaign that effectively showcases and exaggerates the glass cleaner's claim of providing smudge-free, crystal-clear surfaces.

The campaign will utilize a unique visual approach to highlight the product's effectiveness. Human subjects will be depicted as line sketches, emphasizing simplicity and clarity. The product's claim will be illustrated through the use of invisible glass vessels, making the liquid contained within them appear as if it is floating in mid-air. This design choice will visually exaggerate the glass cleaner's ability to render glass surfaces virtually invisible.
